"My name is Rubin Statham, a Davis Cup player for New Zealand and a professional tennis player for 16 years. Tennis is a fast paced sport and places huge demands on your body. About two years ago, I found out that I need surgery on my hips. Taking the time off and restarting my professional tennis career was not an option, so I have been working with Dr. Davis getting a series of regular PRP injections to keep my momentum going. I have tried every recovery method over the years and have had incredible results from PRP. It has helped me be pain-free, move freely on court, and allowing me to notch up the most wins for New Zealand in history, in addition to some of the biggest wins of my career. Simply put, I would not be able to continue representing New Zealand or playing at a professional level if it wasn't for Dr. Davis' rehabilitation techniques and regular PRP treatments. I can’t thank Dr Davis enough for being instrumental in my continued ability to pursue my passion in life."

"I had golfer’s elbow and was in quite a lot of pain which restricted me from playing golf, in addition to performing some daily tasks. After I had the PRP injection I was fine to get back into gym training and enjoy my regular activities."

"PRP was very effective for my shoulder. I am now sleeping pain-free and have resumed normal activities without any restrictions. It’s fantastic to be able to lift a bag or open a door/window without having to think about which arm to use. I would highly recommend Dr Richard Davis’s treatment for this type of injury."

"As a professional athlete, having the best medical advice and treatment is paramount. It can mean weeks or months added to your career. I saw Richard when I had an injury that I felt was career-threatening. I have seen hundreds of medical professionals and believe that Richard is one of the best. His calm demeanor and professionalism reassured me. His prognosis was very accurate and if I’d listened to him instead of being the bull-headed athlete that I am, I would undoubtedly have been better off. I can highly recommend his PRP services. "

"Hip impingements can be quite painful and I did not want mine to ruin my holiday. I was advised to try PRP with Richard to help settle down the inflammation. After a series of 3 treatments prior to leaving, I noticed a significant reduction in pain. It meant the need for other forms of pain relief were unnecessary and I had an energetic and fantastic holiday."

I’ve played competitive rugby, run marathons, water and snow skied all my life. I found that my knees were giving me so much pain I would be forced to have
replacement knee surgery or give up my active lifestyle.
Dr Mat Brick introduced me to Dr Richard Davis who is using PRP treatment to achieve pain free results. It’s a simple procedure and took about 30 minutes for both my knees to be done. The results have changed my life. I can now walk up and down flights of stairs without pain and the same applies to riding my bike.
It allows me to still be relatively competitive with skiing and although I am not completely pain free - I have deferred the need for knee replacement surgery.
I would recommend the PRP process to anyone who is looking to stay active in life as it will give you relief and may postpone the need for surgery.

I tore my meniscus and have general wear and tear in my knees. I'm nearing sixty and using PRP to ward off a knee replacement for as long as possible. PRP started to work for me within weeks. I've been able to walk longer distances with no pain or discomfort (for about half an hour) whereas beforehand I was too sore to walk for more than ten minutes. I can stand and cook dinner on our hard tile floor without issue. I don't lie awake at night with knee pain any more. And I'm starting on my second year of PRP as I write this.

t has been a week since my last PRP injection and I have been amazed with the success. I have not taken any anti-inflammatories since starting the process and I intend to stay away from them as long as I can. My hip has improved incredibly and I have been able to walk without a limp(I think anyway).
I have been concerned about jumping in to print with you as it has almost been too good to be true. I just hope there is a lasting effect, and I recall you said I may even see further benefits over the next few weeks as tissue etc repairs.
Thanks so much for your efforts.
I am sure we will be in touch to give the PRP another go if and when I feel it may help.
Thanks again.

I injured my knee 10 months ago while hiking (meniscal tear and other damage) and suffered from continuous swelling and was unable to walk far or be on my feet for long without pain. I tried cortisone (made it worse) and exercise rehab under Physio guidance but my knee was always irritable and I could not make progress. I also had a single PRP injection done elsewhere which did not result in any improvement.
After some research and talking to people who had had PRP done by Richard Davis, I had the course of 3 injections over 2 months ago. Richard uses ultrasound to guide the placement of the PRP which must be much better than doing it blind as happened with the single injection I had. I now have no swelling or discomfort in my knee and have been able to start strengthening work.
I have just finished a course of PRP for arthritis in my hip which I am hopeful will improve my hip function and avoid the need for a hip replacement. I am very happy with the results so far and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Richard Davis for the PRP treatment.

It's been approx. 17 months since I had PRP in both my hamstrings. I had 3 lots, 2 weeks apart.
The procedure itself was quite sore (but quick), leaving small bruises which disappeared after a few days.
With sensible gentle exercising and stretching, "slump stretches" were extremely beneficial, and gentle massage, the hamstrings seem to have become less aggravated.
I've run a marathon, 4 half marathons and easily walked 2 long tramps since.
I continue to do strength training at the gym, yoga, run, walk, cycle, etc, with ease, although when I do feel tightness in the hamstrings I back off them for a few days to let them recover.
